This tube wall has been a big hit the past few days! So simple to set up, and great for hand-eye coordination, visual tracking skills, predictions, vocabulary, cooperation, and more.
 We are having a blast with some more DIY toys today! We used wooden dowels, some fun yarn, and electrical tape to make ours. There are lots of variations that would work great too: sticks instead of dowels, ribbons or streamers instead of (or with) yarn. They are a fun way to get out and get moving!   The kids and I had a great time making some new toys today! Lots of fun and great for fine motor work and critical thinking skills. I love making our own toys! The kids get so involved with them and seem so much more excited for homemade toys. Plus, when you can make them using recycled materials, it's even better!  The kids spent a lot of time this past week creating an obstacle course in the yard! The planning, trial & error, teamwork, and of course, large motor work were amazing to watch! #looseparts
