Today we had fun with some water and marker "painting." The kids each made marks or pictures on a paper towel with washable markers. Then, they dabbed the marks with a cotton swab dipped in water.
They were excited to watch the colors run and creep across the towel, and loved seeing how some colors changed as they traveled!
Then, one of the kids had a great idea to try putting the marked towel INTO the water (we have done a "walking water" experiment before, so maybe they remembered? Or maybe not, either way, it was a great addition!) :)
