We had a special birthday here today! Gavin turned 6 today and we celebrated with forts, homemade pizza for lunch, and the cookie cake his Mom made him! :) Happy, happy birthday, Gavin!
Every once in a while, the kids LOVE to get out the painter's tape and make some masterpieces all over the floor. :) And all in that fun activity, there is great fine motor work, visual-spacial planning, opportunity for practicing determination and persistence (ripping tape off the roll is hard work for little fingers!), and also great alternative method for practicing their letters, numbers, or shapes! | Look what we did today!These kiddos make my day, every day! I love seeing the delight in their faces when they are proud of themselves, and the curiosity in their eyes as they explore something new.
